Artemis
A bird with her head in the clouds, Artemis loves to fly. She is always finding a high spot, like the fence or the top of the coop, and launching herself into a short flight across the yard. Leghorns are a light breed, so she’s able to fly farther than the other chickens in the flock!

BreedFun Fact
Leghorns of all colors are egg-laying machines, laying between 280-320 eggs per year. That means many Leghorns lay an egg every single day, at least for the first couple years as laying hens.

Pecking Order started with a backyard flock and a daughter who wanted to make something special for her favorite hen in the family kitchen. Originating from that love, our treats give keepers a way to connect with their flock. Celebrate your bond with a handful of Pecking Order treats.
